The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) is dedicated to the conservation and welfare of all whales, dolphins and porpoises. You can help fund their continued work by adopting your own dolphin for just £4 a month. All of the dolphins live and breed in Scotland's Moray Firth, and can even be seen in Chanonry Point between April and September each year!

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) was first established in 1987, and is dedicated to the conservation and welfare of all whales, dolphins and porpoises. With over 70 staff in offices based in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Germany, the UK and the US, the WDCS carry out essential work to help people understand dolphins, whilst also providing educational materials to show how to better protect these fascination creatures.
About the WDCS
The WDCS was first established in 1987, and now has over 70 staff in offices based in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Germany, the UK and the US. This WDCS team are mostly volunteers who are dedicated to doing their best for the animals they protect whilst keeping operating costs down to a minimum. The WDCS carry out essential work to help people understand dolphins, whilst also providing educational materials to show how to better protect these fascination creatures.
Where does the money go?
The money raised is spent on conservation, research and education projects that really do make a difference to the daily lives and long term security of thousands of whales, dolphins and porpoises around the world. The funds also help to provide the WDCS with equipment to better understand and help these creatures such as binoculars, cameras and acoustic readers. By adopting via direct debit you will also be helping the WDCS to plan more the long term work that regular funding allows.
