WWF Big Forest Picnic – 20th August 2011

WWF UK is inviting you to take part in their awesome Big Forest Picnic, which will be taking place on Saturday 20th August 2011 across 5 different sites in the UK, or you could just organise your own! You will be able to join in at –

  • Hainault Forest, east London
  • East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve, Bovey Valley, Devon
  • Whitehill Woods, east Durham
  • Plas Power & Nant Mill Woods, Wrexham, Wales
  • Eliburn Woods, Livingston, Scotland
  • Ledmore & Migdale Woods, Sutherland

with a whole host of activities to take part in on the day, it will me an amazing afternoon for all the family.

Plus if you fancy being adventurous, why not organise your own local forest shindig for your friends and family. With the weather like it is at the moment in the UK, it’s sure to be a hit for both young and old, just remember to take plenty of scotch eggs, and water!
