Comic Relief are also making a major push into social networking sites, with over a month of intensive activity around this year’s charity push. The event will this year launch channels on YouTube, Flickr and Twitter. Each site  will be hosted by a celebrity who will be releasing backstage images, gossip and instant news to the user via the online channels.

Last year Comic Relief raised a record-breaking sum of £40.2m thanks to a host of performances from British comedies finest acts…

so why not make a donation and join in the fun this Friday?
