UNICEF UK‘s latest report shows how climate change is affecting children, with up to 150,000 losing their lives every year. With the world’s carbon emissions causing the planet to heat up, children living in developing countries are the most at risk, even though they are the least responsible for the impact of climate change.
The report – Our Climate, Our Children, Our Responsibility, highlights how water shortages and disease continues to adversely affect children. UNICEF are demanding urgent support from governments and the private sector to help combat this global crisis and help the most vulnerable children to survive and develop within their changing climate.
